Story

This mini was designed by the Para-Bellum team in keeping with our aesthetic, then sculpted by renowned artist Michael Kontraros. This is a true miniature craft series, with incredible detail that makes it a presence on a gaming table or as a painted model. After Ragnarok and the burning of Yggdrasil, the Jotuns threatened all human life on the Nordic continent. The emergence of the Einherjars from their slumber put an abrupt and final end to their domination. With their greatest shaman kings broken, the Jotuns were forced to bend the knee and pledge allegiance to their Einherjars and their human subjects. Today, the few remaining Einherjars can grant truly exceptional leaders authority over one of these imposing giants. Strong and tireless, Jotuns are invaluable assets to the community to which they are assigned. Some enterprising Jarls are prepared to take them on raids. Extremely expensive to transport and feed at sea, Jotuns quickly prove their worth on land. Rising to over 6 metres, a Mountain Jotnar is a primordial force of destruction on the battlefield. Their powerful limbs can shatter a line of shields in a single blow, hurling grown men through the air as if they were toys.

How they play

A mainstay of the Nordic army lists, this regiment of heavy monsters puts the emphasis on early-game pressure, at which this faction excels, capable of delivering a multitude of powerful attacks and breaking through enemy lines!
