The inaugural Hypatia Class vessel to emerge was the prototype, dubbed The Prometheus. Unfortunately, this ship was stolen by the Commonwealth Agent Helsinki Markov, and despite a relentless pursuit, The Prometheus was never recovered. Despite this setback, the production of Hypatia Class Generator ships was well underway, and the maiden production vessel of this class, named The Hypatia, was fully equipped and prepared for service.

Several years have passed since the Markov scandal, and the Hypatia class has solidified its status as one of the most adaptable ships within the Enlightened faction. Beyond its significant firepower, this class is equipped with ultra-efficient engines and superconductors, enabling it to operate three specifically overcharged generators. This feature provides the Generator Ship and its accompanying fleet with an extensive array of options.

The accompanying support vessels that escort Hypatia Class ships and other large vessels undertake more specialized roles. The Plinius Support Carrier, armed with dozens of Scythe Drones, launches them from hydraulic ramps, allowing the Plinius to partially submerge when the ramps are closed, making it challenging to detect and target. Several other Cruisers share the Plinius's hull design. The Quintilian bombardment cruiser deploys heavy rockets at distant targets before returning below the waves. The Tacitus Assault Cruiser typically equips two hardpoints for turrets, often housing Particle Beamers. The Claudius Merchantman, designed with extra hull space, serves as the linchpin of Enlightened logistics. Ingenious engineering has managed to incorporate torpedo launchers for protection against pirates and other threats.

While these Cruisers adeptly maneuver just beneath the surface, the Diogenese and Praxilla Class Submarines are capable of operating at considerable depths. These large Automata execute various pre-programmed subroutines and are highly effective in hunting down and neutralizing enemy vessels.

The Hypatia Battlefleet Set kit comprises nine multi-part plastic and resin miniatures:

  • 1x Hypatia Class Generator Ship
  • 2x Plinius Cruisers (Each Cruiser can alternatively be assembled as Quintilian, Tacitus, or Claudius Class)
  • 6x Praxilla Submarines (Each Submarine can alternatively be built as a Diogenese Class)
  • 2x SRS Tokens
  • 2x Physeter Tokens
