This high-quality lacquer-based paint features an advanced chemical formula and exceptional color accuracy, outperforming many other brands. It flows seamlessly through an airbrush, adheres well to surfaces, and dries with a soft, even finish. It also maintains excellent compatibility with all types of weathering products.
This shade was used by the German Army as part of the second tropical camouflage scheme (Tropen 2), applied to vehicles and equipment deployed in Africa and Crete from March 1942 to February 1943. According to military regulations, RAL 8020 was to cover two-thirds of the vehicle’s surface, with the remainder in RAL 7027. Both photographic and documentary evidence confirm that tropical schemes were also used on the Eastern Front.
For best results, dilute with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner, or other thinners intended for lacquer-based paints.
