It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Used for the disruptive upper surface camouflage of Luftwaffe aircraft operating in North Africa and the Mediterranean, this color was introduced in the spring of 1941 and applied either at supply depots or directly by operational units.

It perfectly matches FS 34096 green, one of the upper surface camouflage colors used by the Czech Air Force from the 1990s to the present day, seen on aircraft such as the Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-24, W-3, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, L-410, and C-295M.
