Clean lines and consistent dimensions are valuable when creating custom structures or adding fine construction details. The 4.5 mm Flat Plasticard Profile provides straight ABS plastic strips that can be cut, adapted and incorporated into a wide variety of modelling and scratch-building projects.
Each profile measures 4.5 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick, giving you a flat and uniform section for building structural elements, reinforcements, trims or other custom details. Made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), the material combines durability with ease of handling and is widely used in modelling applications.
ABS also has thermoplastic properties, so its shape can be modified with a suitable heat source when a project requires curved or specially shaped sections. For assembly, cyanoacrylate adhesive is particularly suitable for ABS plastic. White PVA-type glue can also be used, although it requires a longer drying time.
