With a 0.5 mm thickness, it offers slightly more definition than an extra-fine profile while remaining discreet enough for detailed miniature and scale modelling work.

Made from uPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride), the material combines durability with straightforward handling. It can be easily cut and sanded to the required length or shape, making it useful for linear details, divisions, small reinforcement elements and other construction features where consistent dimensions matter.

uPVC Plasticard is widely used for fantasy and military modelling, slot car conversions, scale model construction and scratch-building. The profile can be painted with modelling paints and offers good resistance to degradation and wear in both indoor and outdoor applications. It is also resistant to acetone.

For assembly, the material can be bonded using cyanoacrylate adhesives or Plastic Skull Glue. Each pack contains 10 profiles measuring 250 mm, providing a useful supply of accurately sized material for detailed modelling, construction and customisation projects.
