The distinctive shape of an H-beam profile makes it a useful structural element for custom modelling projects. The 6 mm H-Beam Plasticard Profile is made from ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), offering the combination of durability, strength and workability commonly sought in modelling materials.

With a 6 x 6 mm section, the H-shaped profile provides clean, consistent edges along its length. It can be cut to the required size and incorporated directly into a construction, or combined with sheets and other Plasticard profiles to create custom assemblies. Its defined geometry makes it particularly suitable for structural details and linear elements on models and scenery.

ABS also has thermoplastic properties, allowing the material to be reshaped using a suitable heat source when a project requires a specific adjustment. For assembly, cyanoacrylate adhesive is particularly suitable for ABS plastic. White PVA-type glue can also be used, although it requires a longer drying time.
