When fine detailing calls for a material measured in fractions of a millimetre, this extra-thin uPVC profile provides a precise way to add definition without unnecessary bulk. Made from unplasticised polyvinyl chloride, it combines a very slim profile with durability and ease of handling, making it well suited to modelling and scratch-building applications.

At just 0.25 mm thick and 1 mm wide, the profile can be used to create fine lines, edges, reinforcement and small structural details. Its consistent shape makes precise construction easier and allows it to be incorporated into models, vehicles, miniatures and scenery without significantly increasing their overall volume.

uPVC is easy to cut and sand while offering good resistance to degradation and wear. It can be painted with modelling paints and is resistant to acetone. Its very low thermal and electrical conductivity, combined with its precisely manufactured dimensions, makes it a versatile material for fantasy and military modelling, slot car conversions and scratch-building.

For bonding, cyanoacrylate adhesives and specialist plastic adhesives such as Plastic Skull Glue can be used. Each pack contains 10 profiles measuring 250 mm, providing plenty of material for repeated detailing work and larger modelling projects.
