This 1.5 × 1.5 mm solid square Plasticard rod provides clean, consistent lines for adding fine structural details to scale models, scenery and scratch-built projects. Its straightforward square section makes it useful for creating posts, supports, frames, reinforcement and other small structural elements where a precise profile is required.

The rods are made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), a strong and durable plastic that remains easy to work with. It can be cut and adapted to the required dimensions, while its thermoplastic properties also allow the material to be reshaped using different heat sources when a project calls for a customised form.

Used on its own or alongside other Plasticard shapes, this square profile offers plenty of possibilities for scratch-building, scenery, dioramas, scale modelling and wargaming terrain. Its regular cross-section is particularly useful when building geometric assemblies or repeating structural details. Cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended for bonding ABS, while white PVA glue can also be used, although it takes longer to dry.

Each rod measures 250 mm in length, providing plenty of material for multiple small components from a single piece. Each pack contains 10 solid square profiles measuring 1.5 × 1.5 mm.
