Combining a 4 mm width with a slim 0.5 mm thickness, this uPVC profile provides a clean way to add broader surface details without introducing unnecessary bulk. Its precise, even section is well suited to strips, borders, panels, reinforcement and other construction elements that need more visual presence than narrower profiles.

The profile is made from uPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride), providing a useful combination of durability and ease of use. It can be readily cut and sanded to the dimensions required for a particular build, while its consistent geometry makes it practical when several matching elements need to be produced.

This Plasticard can be used across a wide range of fantasy and military modelling projects, as well as scale model construction, scratch-building and slot car conversions. It can be painted with modelling paints and offers good resistance to degradation and wear in both indoor and outdoor applications. The material is also resistant to acetone and has very low thermal and electrical conductivity.

For assembly, the profiles can be bonded using cyanoacrylate adhesives or Plastic Skull Glue. Each pack contains 10 profiles measuring 250 mm, providing a useful supply of consistent material for construction, detailing and customisation projects.
