Japanese Cruiser groups commonly incorporate Chita Submersible Automata, engineering marvels equal to the mechanical prowess of the Covenant of the Enlightened. These automatons serve a dual role: safeguarding the fleet from underwater threats and aiding in assaults. While designed for independent lengthy operations, the Chita lack the endurance of their larger counterparts, the Kaiju class automata.
Ishikawa strike cruisers and Yamaguchi Attack Cruisers play pivotal roles in maintaining these escorts away from drydocks, employing moon pools for Chita repairs and refueling.
