ABS Plasticard - Profile Rod 3 mm

With a 3 mm diameter, this solid round rod provides a uniform cylindrical section that can be cut to the required length and incorporated into custom constructions. It can also be combined with other Plasticard profiles to create assemblies with consistent dimensions and clean, repeatable details.

ABS offers a useful balance between strength and workability. It is also a thermoplastic material, allowing its shape to be modified using a suitable heat source when a project requires a particular curve or adjustment. For bonding, cyanoacrylate adhesive is particularly suitable for ABS plastic. White PVA-type glue can also be used, although it requires a longer drying time.
