Measuring 6 × 3 mm, this compact U-shaped profile brings a ready-made structural section to detailed modelling and scratch-building projects. Its recessed shape can be used for frames, reinforcement, hollow structural elements and architectural details without having to construct the U-section from separate strips of material.

Product Details

The profile is made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), a plastic widely used for modelling and miniature construction. It can be easily cut, shaped and bonded to suit the project, while its thermoplastic properties allow the material to be reshaped using different heat sources when required.

Its compact dimensions make it particularly useful for dioramas, wargaming scenery, architectural models and scratch-building, where consistent structural details can make a significant difference to the finished build. For bonding ABS, cyanoacrylate adhesive is the recommended option. White glue can also be used, although it requires considerably more time to dry.

Each profile is 250 mm long. Because of the cutting process, the ends may show some deformation and the U-section may not form a perfectly right angle. To account for this characteristic, each pack contains 5 + 1 profiles, providing an additional piece for the project.
