This 4 mm round Plasticard tube provides a ready-made cylindrical section for building hollow structural details, mechanical components and architectural features. Its tubular geometry is especially useful when a project calls for a consistent circular form, making it a practical material for scenery, scale models and scratch-built constructions.

Product Details

Made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), the profile combines durability with straightforward handling. It can be cut to the required length and adapted to a project, while its thermoplastic properties allow its shape to be modified using different heat sources when needed. Its hollow construction also offers different modelling possibilities from those provided by a solid rod.

The tube is well suited to scale modelling, dioramas, wargaming scenery and architectural models, as well as custom scratch-built components. Its pre-formed cylindrical section makes it possible to create regular hollow elements without having to construct a tube from several separate pieces. For bonding ABS, cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended. White PVA glue can also be used, although it requires a longer drying time.

Each tube measures 250 mm in length. The pack contains 10 profiles, providing plenty of material for repeated details or several separate modelling projects.
