Jagdtiger

Weighing 71 tons, the Jagdtiger featured nearly 10 inches of frontal armor on its casemate, making it one of the best-protected tanks of the war. However, its heavy armor came at the cost of reliability and mobility. Many roads and bridges could not support its massive weight, and only around 80 Jagdtigers reached the front lines from late 1944, limiting its overall strategic impact.

In Bolt Action games, the Jagdtiger is classified as a super-heavy tank armed with a super-heavy anti-tank gun that does not suffer penetration penalties at long range, and it can be included in armored platoons. It is also usable in Achtung Panzer!, the close-quarters tank combat game, with rules available in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook. The kit includes a 1/56 scale hard plastic Jagdtiger model with a commander and pintle-mounted machine gun, assembly and painting guide, vehicle damage markers, and a waterslide decal sheet featuring markings for Panzer Ace Otto Carius.
