Panzer IV Ausf. F1/G/H Medium Tank

This kit allows you to build your Panzer IV in one of three different variants:

• Ausf. F1: Featuring a short-barreled gun, this was one of the early war models.
• Ausf. G: Equipped with a long-barreled gun with a ball muzzle brake, it earned the nickname “Mark 4 Special”from British forces in the desert campaign and saw action in North Africa and on the Eastern Front.
• Ausf. H: Featuring a new muzzle brake and distinctive schürzen side skirts, this version became a common sight on late-war battlefields, cementing its place as one of the war’s most iconic Panzers.

From the invasion of Poland to the fall of Berlin, the Panzer IV was in constant evolution. Its robust design gave it a remarkable longevity, outlasting many contemporary tanks. By mid-war, it was upgraded with a deadly long-barreled 75mm gun, providing increased firepower and improved mobility. Its armor was also significantly reinforced, ensuring greater battlefield survivability.

During the massive battles on the Eastern Front, the Panzer IV was outfitted with detachable schürzen side armor, designed to counter the threat of Soviet anti-tank rifles and, later, Allied bazooka-style weapons.
