The Panther was regarded as the best all-around German tank of World War II. Although designed as a medium tank, it weighed 45 tons and featured frontal armor over 100mm thick. Its high-velocity KwK 42 L70 gun made it a formidable opponent capable of taking on any Allied tank on the battlefield.
In Bolt Action games, the Panther is classified as a medium tank with the Reinforced Front Armour rule. It is armed with a super-heavy anti-tank gun and can be included in armored platoons. This setup gives it a strong tactical presence, balancing firepower, protection, and mobility effectively.
The Panther can also be used in Achtung Panzer!, the close-quarters tank combat game, with detailed rules found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook. The kit includes a plastic Panther tank with a pintle-mounted machine gun option, an assembly guide, waterslide decals, a Bolt Action stat card, and vehicle damage markers.
