Puma – Arguably One of the Best-Looking Armoured Cars of WWII
The Puma is, arguably, one of the best-looking armoured vehicles of World War II. A variant of the Sdkfz 234, it boasted a fully enclosed turret with a 50mm KwK 30 gun and thicker armour than other variants. Despite this additional armour, the Puma was still capable of reaching speeds of over 50 mph (85 km/h), making it a fast and effective scout vehicle on both the Eastern and Western Fronts from 1943 onwards. However, despite its reinforced armour, it offered little protection against enemy fire.
This variant of the Puma was fitted with a fully enclosed turret and armed with a 50mm KwK 30 gun.
