When a project calls for larger cylindrical elements, the 8 mm Round Tube Plasticard Profile provides a substantial, consistent section that can be adapted to suit your build. Made from ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), these profiles are a versatile modelling material for scratch building, scenery construction and custom detailing.

Measuring 8 mm in diameter, the round tube is suited to more substantial features such as pipes, conduits, supports, structural components or mechanical details. ABS offers a useful combination of strength and durability while remaining easy to work, allowing the profile to be cut and incorporated into custom constructions.

ABS is also a thermoplastic material, meaning its shape can be modified with a suitable heat source when a project requires a curved section or another specific adjustment. For assembly, cyanoacrylate adhesive is particularly suitable for ABS. White PVA-type glue can also be used, although it has a significantly longer drying time.
