This 5 × 2.5 mm U-shaped Plasticard profile provides a compact structural section for detailed modelling, scenery and scratch-building. Its recessed geometry can be used directly for frames, reinforcement, edging and architectural features, avoiding the need to build a U-section from several separate strips.

Made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), the profile is straightforward to cut, shape and bond. ABS is also thermoplastic, allowing its form to be modified with different heat sources when a project calls for a customised shape.

ABS Plasticard profiles are widely used in modelling, miniature construction, dioramas and wargaming scenery, as well as architectural models and scratch-building. They provide a consistent way to add structural elements and custom details to a build. Cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended for bonding ABS, while white glue can also be used, although it takes significantly longer to dry.

Each profile measures 250 mm in length. Due to the cutting process, the ends may show some deformation and the U-section may not form a perfectly right angle. To account for this characteristic, each pack contains 5 + 1 profiles, including one additional piece.
