With its 1.25 × 2.5 mm semi-circular section, this Plasticard profile offers a straightforward way to introduce rounded lines and raised details into scale modelling projects. The profile can be used for edging, mouldings, reinforcement, surface details and other features where a curved section is required, providing a consistent shape without having to build it from multiple pieces.

Product Details

Made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), the material combines durability with ease of handling. It can be cut and adapted to the required length, while its thermoplastic properties also make it possible to alter its shape using different heat sources when a project requires additional customisation.

This profile is well suited to scratch-building, wargaming scenery, dioramas and scale models. Its rounded half-section can create a raised curved detail directly against a flat surface, making it useful for adding visual definition to otherwise plain areas. For bonding ABS, cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended. White PVA glue can also be used, although it requires a longer drying time.

Each profile measures 250 mm in length. The pack contains 10 profiles, providing plenty of material for repeated details or several elements within the same modelling project.
