At 6 mm wide and only 0.5 mm thick, this uPVC profile offers a broader working surface while keeping added depth to a minimum. It is well suited to strips, borders, panels, reinforcement and other construction elements that need to remain clearly defined without becoming unnecessarily bulky.

Product Details

The profile’s consistent dimensions make it useful for creating clean, repeatable details across a model. It can be easily cut and sanded to suit the project, while its even geometry provides a reliable starting point for custom construction. The wider profile is also straightforward to handle when working on larger surface details.

Made from uPVC (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride), the material offers good resistance to degradation and wear in both indoor and outdoor applications. It has very low thermal and electrical conductivity, is resistant to acetone and can be painted with modelling paints.

uPVC Plasticard is used for a wide range of projects, including fantasy and military modelling, slot car conversions, scale model construction and scratch-building. For assembly, the profiles can be bonded with cyanoacrylate adhesives or Plastic Skull Glue. Each pack contains 10 profiles measuring 250 mm.
