A compact rectangular profile designed for precise construction, reinforcement and detailing work in scale modelling. These solid Plasticard rods are made from ABS plastic, a material widely used in modelling thanks to its combination of strength, durability and ease of handling.

Each rod measures 1.5 × 2 mm in section and is 25 cm (250 mm) long, providing a useful length for creating small structures, frames, supports, reinforcing elements and geometric details. Its rectangular shape makes it particularly practical for clean, regular assemblies and allows it to be combined with other Plasticard sheets or profiles.

ABS also has thermoplastic properties, meaning that its shape can be modified when exposed to a suitable heat source. For assembly, cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended for ABS plastic. White PVA glue can also be used, although it requires a longer drying time.

Whether used to build a structure from scratch, add reinforcement to an existing model or introduce fine architectural and mechanical details, these profiles provide a precise and durable material that can be cut and worked according to the needs of the project.
