The Valentine tank was a dependable and resilient vehicle, widely used by Commonwealth forces and the Soviet Red Army during World War II. First introduced in the Western Desert in 1940, it quickly earned a reputation for its durability and battlefield reliability. Although eventually replaced by the Churchill and Sherman tanks on the Western Front, the Valentine continued to see service in other regions, including the Far East with New Zealand forces, and in large numbers on the Eastern Front, where Soviet crews appreciated its comfort and toughness.

With up to 65mm of armour, the Valentine offered excellent protection for its time, capable of deflecting many standard anti-tank weapons. It was armed with a 40mm 2-pounder gun and a Besa machine gun, giving it enough firepower to support infantry and engage light to medium enemy vehicles. While its interior was cramped and its speed limited, the three-man crew could rely on its mechanical reliability, even in the harshest combat environments.

This product includes one resin and metal Valentine II infantry tank, a Bolt Action stat card, vehicle damage markers, a full-colour decal sheet, and one Bolt Action Order Dice. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, ready to be built and painted to join your Allied forces on the tabletop battlefield.
