Turquoise Ghost Dip

Because the marker is ready to use, the application process stays simple from start to finish. Paint can be placed directly onto the miniature without a brush, wet palette or additional container. The size 2 nib provides a practical balance between coverage and control, making it suitable for moving efficiently across the different areas of a miniature while following its sculpted volumes.

The surface underneath has a direct influence on how the translucent paint behaves visually. A white or light-coloured primer is recommended to obtain the strongest contrast. Turquoise Ghost Dip can also be applied over a Slapchop grisaille, using black, grey and white beforehand to establish the main highlights and shadows. These underlying value changes remain visible through the translucent Dipping Ink, helping reinforce the definition of the miniature.

For consistent application, shake the marker well before use. Apply the paint directly to the surface and spread it evenly, taking care not to repeatedly work areas that have already begun to dry. The size 2 nib can be replaced with a separately available size 1 nib when smaller details or more precise applications require it.

Turquoise Ghost Dip is also part of a reusable marker system. Once the original paint has been used, the marker can be cleaned, refilled and used again. Replacement kits containing nibs and internal components can help restore the marker for continued use. Suitable refills include Dipping Ink, airbrush paints and other acrylic paints with an appropriate consistency. Thicker paints can be adjusted with acrylic thinner to achieve a suitable flow.
