Green Ghost Dip

Its size 2 nib provides a practical balance between coverage and control. The marker can be used directly on the miniature, eliminating the need for a brush, wet palette or additional container during application. This makes it particularly useful when working through several models and when speed is an important part of the painting process.

For a stronger contrast effect, apply Green Ghost Dip over a white or light-coloured primer. Another option is to prepare the miniature using the Slapchop technique. By establishing the main light and shadow variations beforehand with black, grey and white, the translucent Dipping Ink allows those values to remain visible beneath the colour, increasing contrast and definition across the model.

Before use, shake the marker thoroughly and apply the paint directly to the surface, distributing it evenly. Avoid repeatedly going back over areas that have already begun to dry. The size 2 nib is suited to general miniature painting, while a separately available size 1 replacement nib can be fitted when smaller details require additional precision.

There is also a longer-term advantage to the marker format: it can be cleaned, refilled and reused. Once its original contents have been consumed, it can be filled with Dipping Ink, airbrush paints or other acrylic paints with an appropriate flow. Thicker paints can be adjusted using acrylic thinner. Replacement kits with nibs and internal components make it possible to renew the marker and continue using it with different colours, mixes or effects.
