Acid Green Dip

The size 2 nib is designed to combine coverage with control, allowing paint to be applied directly to different areas of a miniature without setting up a brush, wet palette or additional container. The marker format keeps the process straightforward and makes it particularly practical when working through characters, individual models or larger wargaming armies.

For a stronger contrast effect, apply Acid Green Dip over a white or light-coloured primer. It can also be used over a Slapchop grisaille, where black, grey and white are first used to establish variations of light and shadow. Because the Dipping Ink remains translucent, these underlying values continue to show through the colour, adding definition to the final result.

Shake the marker thoroughly before use, then apply the paint directly to the surface and distribute it evenly. Avoid repeatedly working over areas that have already started to dry, as this can affect the consistency of the finish. When greater precision is required, the size 2 nib can be replaced with a separately available size 1 replacement nib.

The marker is designed to remain useful after its original paint has been used. Once empty, it can be cleaned, refilled and reused with new colours. Replacement kits are available with nibs and internal components to renew the marker. It can be refilled with Dipping Ink, airbrush paints or other acrylic paints with a suitable consistency. Thicker formulas can be adjusted with acrylic thinner to achieve the required flow.
