Dipping Ink Marker Pack - Neutral Tones

Inside the pack are 12 markers, each holding 6.5 ml of ink. Every marker comes with a No. 2 nib, designed to balance coverage with control. It is suitable for painting around 90% of a miniature and can also be used on larger surfaces, including gaming terrain and scenery. The convenient marker format applies ink directly to the model, with no brush, wet palette or extra container required.

For best results, apply the ink over a white or light-coloured primer. You can also use the markers over a Slapchop underpainting, first establishing shadows and highlights with black, grey and white. The underlying values remain visible through the translucent ink, helping bring out the miniature’s details. Before painting, prime the marker by pumping the nib until it is saturated. If the ink flow becomes weak, pump it again, and avoid repeatedly going over areas that have started to dry.

These markers are designed to be refilled and reused. When a marker runs out, refill it with Dipping Ink of the same colour. If you want to change colours, clean the marker thoroughly and replace the used nib before adding the new ink. This helps prevent leftover pigment from affecting the next shade. For finer work, a separate No. 1 replacement nib is available, allowing you to adapt the marker to more precise applications.
