Despite a privileged childhood as the son of a millionaire, Roberto Da Costa constantly challenged himself, both mentally and physically, excelling in many fields. With his ability to absorb and manipulate solar energy, he has made a name for himself fighting for a better future under the alias Sunspot.  

Warlock, although he appears to be a sophisticated robot, is in reality a techno-organic life form that has fled his home planet. His strange way of expressing himself may not make him the most eloquent member of the team, but he is a loyal ally, ready to defend his ‘friends of his’ against anyone who threatens their safety.
