Blue Moon - Deep Shade 30ml

Deep Shades are specifically formulated for quick and effective shading on small-scale miniatures while maintaining a matte finish. They make painting miniature armies easy and efficient with a three-step process: base, shade, highlight. Their formula contains micro-dispersed pigments smaller than one micron in pure acrylic resins, slightly tinting volumes and accentuating the contrast of shadows in recesses and folds.

The product offers a perfect balance between fluidity and viscosity, superior to enamel washes, which facilitates the retention of pigments in folds and nooks—an essential feature when working on figures that are typically kept in a vertical position. It provides excellent adhesion and resistance. The special formula prevents bubbles, and once dry, it does not reactivate with water or its own medium. To deepen the effect, applying two light coats is recommended. For more transparency or reduced contrast, the use of AK13010 medium is advised. It is also recommended not to wet the application areas to avoid slowing down the drying time.
