Acrylic paint markers for model making are tools specially designed to make painting scale models easier. They offer perfect adhesion to surfaces such as plastic, resin, metal and wood. These markers are water and heat resistant, dry quickly and can be applied in layers, similar to other model paints. Their high coverage ensures precise application without smudging, and they allow subsequent ageing effects with any product without risk of damaging the paint. They are ideal for applying base coats to small scales or for painting camouflage accessories cleanly, comfortably and accurately.
Although markers generally have a matt finish, some colours can have a slightly satin appearance due to the nature of the pigments. Whatever the preferred finish - matt, satin or gloss - markers can be coated with any type of varnish without risk of damaging the paint.
To use these markers, we recommend shaking them well before use, testing the colour on a test surface and applying directly to your model to achieve the desired effect.
