Among the Institute’s most feared assets are the Coursers, agile reconnaissance synths that act as the faction’s long reach on the surface. Equipped with advanced stealth technology such as Stealth Boys, they are rendered almost invisible, betrayed only by a faint blue outline. Z2-47 stands out as one of the foremost experts in synth retrieval and elimination, renowned for exceptional mission success rates and a willingness to cut through any opposition standing between him and his target.

When subtlety alone is insufficient, the Institute turns to surface mercenaries to accomplish its objectives. Conrad Kellogg is one such operative, valued for his ruthless efficiency and deep familiarity with the Wasteland. Augmented and nearly ageless under the Institute’s patronage, he carries out the most underhanded assignments without hesitation.
