To the east of Malifaux City lies the Bayou, a vast swamp region of open marshes, flooded wetlands, and scattered pig farms. Beneath the canopy, a makeshift Gremlin society has formed, imitating aspects of human civilization in its own chaotic way: brewing alcohol, using firearms, and generally behaving as a dangerous nuisance. In this unpredictable environment, its inhabitants survive through brutal ingenuity and a fierce attachment to their disorderly way of life.
