Its acrylic formula provides an ultra-matte finish, enabling pigments to settle naturally into recesses and textures for a more organic and convincing result than standard paint.
Easy to use, this patina can be applied directly onto clean, non-porous surfaces such as plastic, resin, or metal. It can be used straight from the pot or slightly diluted with water depending on the desired effect. Thanks to its partially water-soluble properties, the surface can be reworked after application using a damp brush, sponge, or cotton swab to soften, remove, or intensify the effect. It is also suitable for airbrush use, allowing smooth transitions and large-scale weathering applications.
Non-toxic and free from harsh fumes, this product is suitable for regular hobby use. It is recommended to shake well before use to properly mix the pigments. To protect the final finish—especially from moisture—applying a matte varnish is advised.
