Megasloth

Its thick fur has become an ecosystem of its own, supporting insects, plant life, and especially the distinctive fungi that grow directly across its body. These mushrooms are said to share a symbiotic bond with the Megasloth, giving the creature an unmistakable silhouette and making it one of Fallout’s most memorable mutated animals. Stories suggest their ancestors were brought to the United States as exotic pets before the Great War, escaping into the wild and eventually mutating into the creatures now roaming the wasteland.

Despite its famously docile nature, the Megasloth is far from harmless. When threatened, it can unleash immense physical strength and has earned a reputation for standing its ground against dangerous predators such as yao guai. On the tabletop, it delivers a striking visual contrast—peaceful and slow-moving at first glance, yet undeniably powerful when conflict erupts.
