Cosmic Motherlode (Terrain)

At the centre of the set is a Celestial Head, the remains of a vast cosmic being whose ancient wreckage has become a source of valuable resources. Nearby, those discoveries have been secured inside cosmic containers. Together, these terrain pieces create a battlefield centred around a mysterious site of exploration, where valuable discoveries can become another reason for rival forces to clash.

The set also adds gameplay elements through its included One-Shot cards. Ancient Archaeology allows characters to interact with the Celestial Head to gain additional powers, while Rich Vein focuses on searching the containers for resources that can help turn the conflict in your favour. These rules give the terrain a role beyond simply filling the table with scenery.

The terrain pieces are supplied unpainted and require assembly. A Marvel: Crisis Protocol Core Set is required to use this expansion.
