Earth Texture Paint Set 30ml Vol 2 (x4)

The set covers a broad range of earthy environments. Light Earth provides a lighter sandy ground, while Terracotta introduces warmer reddish-brown tones. For more unusual battlefields, Red Mars is suited to Martian-style landscapes, and Volcanic Earth offers a darker earth tone for rugged or volcanic settings.

These high-density pastes can be worked with a palette knife, modelling tool, spatula or an old brush. Spread them thinly to create a subtle ground texture, or build up thicker applications to form raised areas, rough ground, paths, mounds and eroded surfaces. The texture is created as you apply the material, allowing you to shape the terrain while also establishing its base colour.

The pastes adhere to a wide variety of common modelling materials, including plastic, resin, wood, metal and cardboard. They can be used individually or combined to create more varied transitions between different areas of ground. Once dry, the textured surfaces can be further developed with washes, drybrushing, pigments, sand, stones, vegetation and weathering techniques, depending on the finish you want to achieve.

Because the acrylic pastes are water-soluble before drying, cleaning your tools is straightforward. Drying time is approximately 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the application and surrounding conditions. Once fully dry, the surface can be painted or varnished.
