Earth Textures - Colorless 250ml

The thick consistency gives you direct control over the final texture as you work. Apply it with a brush, spatula or modelling tool, spreading it thinly for a subtle surface or building it up to create rougher ground, raised areas and uneven terrain. If required, its consistency can be slightly adjusted with water or acrylic thinner.

Because the paste is uncoloured, you can decide on the final tone yourself. Mix in powder pigments before application and work them through the paste until the colour is evenly distributed. Acrylic paint can also be incorporated, although excessive amounts may affect the original properties of the mixture.

Alternatively, leave the paste neutral while you concentrate on shaping the terrain. Once completely dry, the surface can be painted and further developed with washes, drybrushing, pigments and weathering effects. This approach allows the texture and colouring stages to be handled separately, giving you greater control over the finished ground.

Drying time is approximately 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the application and ambient conditions. While still fresh, the acrylic paste is water-soluble, making it easier to clean brushes and modelling tools after use.
