Leading a renegade warband, Solomon Akurra faces an opportunity that could reshape the future of his followers: the promise of a new world to call their own. Securing such a territory would give his forces a place to establish themselves, but the path towards that ambition is anything but straightforward.
Internal divisions and rivalries threaten to undermine his plans, while Imperial assassins pursue their targets with deadly purpose. The Imperium has not forgotten its enemies, and its desire for vengeance places the warband's prospects in jeopardy.
For Solomon Akurra, the challenge extends beyond defeating an external opponent. He must also contend with the conflicting interests and dangerous ambitions within his own ranks, where maintaining authority can be as demanding as surviving the Imperium's relentless pursuit.
What awaits readers in Ghost Legion:
- Harrowmaster Solomon Akurra: an Alpha Legion commander confronting threats to his authority and ambitions.
- A renegade warband: warriors divided by internal disagreements and competing interests.
- The promise of a new world: a potential home for Akurra's forces, now threatened by conflict.

- Alpha Legion intrigue: a narrative shaped by rivalries, secrecy and political manoeuvring.
The Alpha Legion's reputation for deception and intricate planning gives this story a distinctive character within the Warhammer 40,000 setting. Rather than focusing exclusively on open warfare, the premise brings questions of leadership, loyalty and survival into sharp focus.
Ghost Legion continues the exploration of one of the most enigmatic Traitor Legions through a character whose ambitions are challenged from multiple directions. For readers interested in Chaos Space Marines, Alpha Legion lore and Black Library fiction, Mike Brooks offers a story built around the dangerous consequences of divided loyalties and Imperial retribution.
