Designed for extended sea voyages, the Gladius boasts comfortable crew quarters and exceptional fresh-water reclamation systems, making it a highly sought-after assignment in the Regia Marina. Variations of this hull design also adapt to other fleet roles as necessary, with the mighty Spatha standing out as the most successful. In situations where other nations might deploy a heavy cruiser, the Spatha steps in as a naval combatant.
