Auric Runemasters are indispensable figures within a Fyreslayer lodge, responsible for a number of crucial functions. As high priests of the forge-temple, their main role is to shape the runes of ur-gold, which are set into the flesh of Fyreslayers to give them the power of Grimnir. Endowed with exceptional sensitivity, Auric Runemasters perceive fragments of ur-gold with incomparable acuity, with some legendary runemasters able to sense ur-gold even in other Kingdoms! But their skills are not limited to that. Like all Fyreslayers, they are also formidable fighters, able to command the flames with their brazier from the temple forge. When they strike it to the ground, the battlefield itself cracks and splits, engulfing their enemies in burning magma.
