Natural earthy pigments for model builders are available in a wide range of colors, enabling you to create a variety of weathering effects on your models, such as dust, rust, oil marks and mud. Apply them directly to your models, dioramas, tanks, aircraft, railway models or warfields, using a pigment fixative for permanent adhesion.
These pigments can be applied wet or dry, as required. Mix with our Acrylic Pigment Fixer or Mud Effect for wet application. If you prefer a dry application, you can fix them later with an acrylic pigment fixative. Although other fixatives, such as those based on White Spirit, are compatible, they are less recommended due to their strong odor and toxicity.
These pigments are non-toxic, but it is advisable to avoid inhaling the dust.
