Guy Fawkes (clearly not his real name) has built a fearsome reputation across the far reaches of space for one brutally effective specialty: turning heavily armored battleships into drifting wreckage using massive explosive-laden fire ships. Leading a daring crew of demolition-focused corsairs, he operates from a personal shipyard capable of refitting vessels for high-risk, one-way assault missions. These ships are engineered to withstand just enough punishment to reach their target, offering a radical and decisive solution for commanders seeking immediate destructive impact on the battlefield.
Fawkes shows a strong preference for aging colonial vessels, whose cavernous cargo holds provide the perfect space to carry enormous quantities of explosives. His engineers remove all non-essential components — crew quarters, weapon systems, spare parts, and long-term operational equipment — to reduce weight and maximize payload capacity. They then reinforce the bow with exceptionally thick frontal armor plating designed to absorb the initial collision. During combat operations, Fawkes personally pilots the munition ship with a minimal yet fiercely loyal crew, abandoning the vessel at the last possible moment using escape pods coordinated with a nearby allied ship ready to retrieve them.
