Maxx Darth backdrop - Lightbox XL

The Maxx Darth™ super black fabric is engineered from a unique blend of flocked synthetic fibres capable of absorbing up to 99.9% of visible light. This makes it one of the darkest materials used in product and miniature photography. In practice, it enhances acrylic paint tones, shading, and lighting effects, helping your miniatures appear sharper and more defined without extensive editing. When combined with controlled lighting setups and varied shooting angles, it becomes a powerful tool for showcasing painted armies and display pieces.

This backdrop is also designed with practical studio use in mind, featuring 2 anchoring holes compatible with installation inside the GSW Lightbox Studio. It measures 302x635mm, making it easy to integrate into a dedicated photography setup. To maintain optimal performance, avoid placing heavy objects on the surface to prevent deformation of the flocked microfibre. Regular cleaning with a lint roller is recommended, as dust particles become highly visible due to the extreme contrast. If creases appear, indirect steam and gentle brushing can help restore the surface texture.
