Russian troops became especially feared for their stubborn defence and willingness to close with the enemy at bayonet point. Against Napoleon’s armies, they played a decisive role in some of the largest and most brutal battles of the era.

This boxed set depicts Russian infantry wearing the traditional Russian shako still commonly seen throughout the later Napoleonic campaigns, even after the introduction of the newer Kiwer design in 1812. Multiple head options allow the unit to be assembled as musketeers, grenadiers or a combination of both.

Designed for quick assembly with only a few components per miniature, the set makes it easy to build large Russian battalions ready for the tabletop in Black Powder and other Napoleonic wargames.
