Designed for the Black Powder – Epic Battles: Waterloo system, this scenery set features the fortified farmhouse of La Haye Sainte, a critical strongpoint during the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.

Positioned near the centre-left of the Duke of Wellington’s line, La Haye Sainte served as a vital defensive anchor and communication point with Blücher’s approaching Prussian forces. Defended primarily by the soldiers of the King’s German Legion and their allies, the farmhouse became the scene of brutal fighting against repeated French infantry assaults.

The heroic stand of the garrison has become one of the defining episodes of Waterloo, symbolising determination and fierce close-quarters combat at the heart of the battle.
