British Army Cavalry Brigade

The set features the distinguished Natal Carbineers and the Natal Mounted Police, formations renowned for their equipment, training and versatility. Armed with carbines and pistols, these cavalrymen could engage from horseback or dismount to deliver disciplined volleys of rifle fire when the situation demanded. They are joined by mounted elements of the Natal Native Contingent, whose soldiers—recruited primarily from the Basuto and Mpondo peoples—brought valuable experience gained through years of conflict against the Zulu.

Including both mounted and dismounted miniatures, this boxed set offers greater tactical flexibility while allowing players to recreate the varied battlefield roles of these units. It is an excellent reinforcement for expanding British armies and adding new options to historical scenarios within the Black Powder Epic Battles: Zulu! system.
