Auxilia (English)

Roane is given command of a motley auxilia built around a clan of despised abhumans. Openly hated by a bloodthirsty Commissar and routinely ignored by the Departmento Munitorum, the unit receives little support from the Imperial institutions it is meant to serve.

Despite this, Roane is faced with the seemingly impossible task of bringing his troops up to Cadian standards. With his superiors showing little faith in the unit and those around him seemingly hoping to see it destroyed, the young officer must find a way to turn his unlikely soldiers into an effective fighting force.

Auxilia follows one officer’s struggle to prove the worth of a regiment that the Imperium has already written off. This new Astra Militarum novel by Russell Zimmerman is now available in paperback.
