It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Introduced by the Luftwaffe in 1941, this standard camouflage color was used to paint the upper surfaces of fighters, heavy fighters, and night fighters. Although officially replaced in the summer of 1944, it remained in practical use until the end of World War II.
