Raf Dark Sea Grey Bs381c/638 17 Ml.

Easy to apply with an airbrush, it adheres perfectly to surfaces and dries to a smooth finish. It provides excellent durability and holds up well to weathering products.

It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

This color has been widely used in various camouflage schemes:

• Undersides of the wings of Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm biplanes from 1939 to the end of World War II.
• Upper surfaces of RAF fighter and tactical aircraft from 1953 to the 2000s.
• Base color for RAF Coastal Command patrol aircraft from 1955 to the 1970s.
• Upper surfaces of USMC AV-8A Harriers in the 1970s.
• Overall color of Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Sea Harriers, introduced after the Falklands War and used until the mid-1990s.
• Wraparound camouflage for non-commando helicopters of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, introduced with the AW159 Wildcat in the 2010s.
